Matt Smith

President

Matt and his wife Andrea Tazioli have been married for 23 years and have two daughters Nora ‘28 & Molly ‘31. Matt earned his Bachelors from Chapman University and his Masters from Georgetown University.

Matt has worked in higher education for most of his career. Currently Matt is the Director of Operations at St. Francis Xavier School. He also is the owner of PHX College Counseling, helping high school students with their college admissions journey.

Eric Mass

Vice President

Eric Maas will be serving as the Vice President of the Xavier Dad’s Club this year. He is originally from Wisconsin and an avid Packer fan. He also graduated in 1998 from Arizona State with a double major in Justice Studies and Political Science. He is married to Nicole Maas, a college softball pitcher and current construction executive. His daughter Evania (Evie) is in the class of 2029 and plays both Flag Football and Basketball.

Will Brundige

Treasurer

Will and his wife Carla have been married for 20 years. Both are from New Orleans and have lived in Phoenix for almost 20 years. They have two daughters, Hartley (class of 2029) and Mary Frances (8th grader). We enjoy our weekends at our girls’ swim meets; and off the pool deck, we love to introduce our Phoenix friends to New Orleans traditions like crawfish boils and other favorite cajun foods.

Jim Knapp

Secretary

Jim Knapp serves as secretary for the Dad’s Club. He and his wife Cara have a son who recently graduated from Brophy (’25) and a daughter who is a junior at Xavier (’27).
